Veg Pulao | Mix Vegetable Rice Video Recipe

Everybody loves the taste of pulao. The one we're going to make is delicious, healthy and full of veggies loaded and is good for kids, specially. So if you have leftover rice or don't have much time but want to make a quick comfortable recipe, this one is a perfect choice.

Prep Time : 10-12 minutes
Cook time : 12-20 minutes
Serve : 2-3

Ingredients for 2 Servings:

  • Rice - 1 bowl boiled
  • Onion, Potatoes, Carrot, Capsicum, Corn, Cottage cheese(Paneer), Green peas, Mushroom - 1/4 cup
  • Oil - 3 tbsp.
  • Salt, Red chilli powder, Turmeric powder - To taste
  • Coriander leaves, Green Chillies, Lemon Juice - For garnishing


  1. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and then fry onions till light brown.
  2.  Now add potatoes and fry for few minutes, then add carrot, saute till both tender. Then add capsicum, saute for 1-2 minutes then add corn kernels and then green peas. Finally add cottage cheese (Paneer). 
  3. Now,  add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and mix well. Now, add boiled rice, mix well and cook for another 3-4 minutes. 
  4. Add 1 tbsp. of lemon juice, garnish with coriander leaves and green chillies. Serve hot.
